Detailed Territory Planning Initiated for Transmission Line in Kovel Community for Perun Project

Project SPV Green Volyn LLC, together with the Kovel City Council and a professional contractor, has signed an agreement and approved the technical assignment for the development of a Detailed Territory Plan for the placement of energy infrastructure facilities within the city of Kovel, Volyn region. The planning process forms part of the Perun Wind Farm project and aims to prepare the territory required for the construction of an overhead transmission line (OHL) connecting the future wind farm to Ukraine’s national power grid. The agreement follows the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the company and the Kovel community in 2024 and represents another important milestone in the development of renewable energy infrastructure in the region. The project is expected to contribute to strengthened regional energy security, support local economic development, and advance Ukraine’s transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy system.
