Emergy - Perun Wind Farm Presented in Ukraine’s Volyn Region

The presentation was attended by representatives of regional, district, and local authorities, including Acting Head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Roman Romaniuk, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Denys Denyshchenko, Head of the Kovel District Military Administration Olha Cheren, Mayor of Kovel Ihor Chaika, and Head of the Kolodyazhne Village Council Vitalii Kashyk. Together with Emergy’s leadership team, led by CEO Jan-Philip Suhren, the participants discussed the key stages of the project’s implementation, the current progress on site, and the ongoing cooperation with public authorities. “We aim to deliver more than just an infrastructure project — this is about building long-term international cooperation. Our ambition is to remain in Ukraine for the long term and become a reliable partner in rebuilding the country’s energy sector,” said Jan-Philip Suhren. For the Kovel and Kolodyazhne communities, the project is expected to bring significant benefits, including investment and economic development, job creation, decentralised electricity generation, and additional revenues for local budgets. Roman Romaniuk underlined the strategic importance of the initiative for the region: “This is an important and ambitious project for our region. Our communities are interested in building strong partnerships with businesses operating locally — such cooperation is the foundation for long-term success. Alternative energy sources are especially important today for strengthening the region’s resilience, and the Regional Military Administration will provide the support needed for the project to move forward.”

Perun Wind Farm Presented in Ukraine’s Volyn Region

On 1 April 2026, Emergy AS and its Ukrainian subsidiary, Green Volyn LLC, presented plans for the Perun Wind Farm, which will be developed in the Kolodyazhne community in the Kovel District of Ukraine’s Volyn Region.
