We aim to provide renewable energy to decarbonise Southeast Europe. We invest in countries to help achieve their climate goals and work under high ESG standards during the project life cycle. We create local jobs and have access to safe and reliable electricity from sustainable energy sources.
We work under high Environmental, Social and Governance standards. We identify and develop projects in a time and cost-efficient manner which create social benefits while achieving financial profitability. In collaboration with both local and international partners, we aim to bring more than 2 GW to RTB stage by the end of 2027.

Interim CFO
Joined Emergy in 2022, and has more than 10 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, IFRS, business law, tax, financial governance, and compliance. Previously served as Group Chief Accountant at Emergy before taking on the role of CFO. Is a State Authorized Auditor and Certified Sustainability Auditor, and holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics and a Master of Science in Accounting and Auditing.

Joined Emergy in 2019, with 15-years of international work, and a solid track record in energy (oil and gas upstream and renewables), with broad value chain experience. Graduated with an MBA from Duke University, USA.
Strategic advisor, Ukraine
Yuliia brings over 20 years of experience across the energy sector, regulation and policy development, corporate governance, and diplomacy. She served as Ukraine's Ambassador to Canada from 2022 till 2025, and previously as the Head of National investment Council of Ukraine. Her energy and governance background spans both the regulator and the boardroom: Commissioner of the National Regulatory Commission for Energy and Utilities, First Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade, and Supervisory Board member of Naftogaz of Ukraine, where she helped bring the country's largest state-owned company up to OECD governance standards. She began her career at Ernst & Young and graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Joined Emergy in 2020, with 25-years of experience in infrastructure engineering, construction, and consulting, including 15-years with wind projects. Graduated with BEng in Civil Engineering from Abertay University.

Joined Emergy in 2021, with 23-years of experience, of which 15-years with FMO: Private Equity, HR & ESG management in emerging markets. Graduated with MSc in Human Resource Management from Tilburg University.

Joined Emergy in 2008. Has more than 25 years of experience working in corporate finance, project finance and operations in mobile network and wind power industries. Graduated from The Wharton School with Bachelor of Science degree in finance, summa cum laude, and with MBA in marketing and entrepreneurial management.
VP People & Business Operations
Joined Emergy in 2022, bringing experience from various roles within HRM, organizational development and business operations. She has since held several roles within Emergy, most recently as Global HR Manager, and currently leads the company’s global People & Business Operations function, with responsibility for people strategy, organizational development, corporate governance and operations. Julie holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Psychology from BI Norwegian Business School.

Managing Director - Romania
Joined Emergy in 2021 with 24 years of experience from the oil- and gas industry, including well services, seismic surveys, onshore and offshore EPCs and subsea technologies in markets from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to Norway and Russia. He has held positions from Financial Controller via Accounting Manager to Country Manager for companies including Baker Hughes, J. Ray McDermott, Aker Solutions and Technip-FMC. Jorn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Oslo Met and an Executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School.
Vice President, Head of Regional Area Development
Joined Emergy in 2020, with 12 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and project management including 7 years of experience in renewable energies projects. He has held management positions both in public and private sectors holding extensive experience in both project design and implementation of different infrastructure and energy projects across the sectors. His areas of expertise in the energy field cover wind energy, energy storage, geothermal energy and green hydrogen. He is a civil and renewable energy engineer, graduated with an MSc in Energy Engineering, University of Gavle, Sweden, MSc in Building Engineering - University of La Rochelle, France and MBA - Industrial Economics and Management at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden.

Founded NBT (now Emergy) in 2004 and developed the company as CEO. Has more than 25-years of experience working on projects worldwide, from wind power generation to real estate development and operations. Nominated for the Industry Leader of the Year Award at the Financing Wind Conference in 2021.

Jakub has over 20 years of experience in senior executive roles, leading complex transactions and international projects. He has held key positions at Accenture, RWE, EPH, and KKCG, managing major energy and infrastructure investments across Europe. Currently, he is a senior advisor at KKR and the founder of Climate and Sustainable Leaders, a leading Czech environmental non-profit.
Board member
Board member with solid experience from real estate and public leadership. He is the founder of SBB and Ilija Batljan Invest AB, and has previously served as CEO of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB. Ilija holds a Ph.D. and a degree in Business and Economics from Stockholm University.
